San Diego, CA, August 25, 2011 — The Mission Village Homeowners Association has selected Merit Property Management, a FirstService Residential Management company, to manage 251 condominium units in San Diego's Mission Valley. Merit will assist the board of directors with daily operations to improve and sustain their community.
"The Mission Village Homeowners Association was very impressed with our efforts to provide green sustainable solutions for communities throughout San Diego," states Cindy Collins, CCAM, Merit's San Diego Business Unit Leader. "The community currently has solar panels and is looking for Merit to revamp the system to decrease energy usage and increase savings for the community."
Mission Village is in the heart of Mission Valley, with quick and easy access to Qualcomm Stadium, movie theaters, fine dining, night entertainment, sports, indoor or outdoor fitness, shopping and a branch of the San Diego public library. The community offers residents a swimming pool, spa, outdoor grills, water fountains and streams, clubhouse, fitness center and tennis courts.
Merit will take over management responsibilities on September 1, 2011 and create a seamless transition for residents and board members by bringing more than 30 years of community management experience to the new partnership.
