Aliso Viejo, CA, February 24, 2011 — MERIT Property Management, a leading provider of professional community association and rental management services, announced today that it raised more than $162,000 during its United Way campaign. All of MERIT's eleven regional offices participated and donated contributions. Pledges were distributed to each region's local United Way chapter.

"The results from our 2010 campaign were tabulated and confirmed this month. MERIT employees overwhelmingly demonstrated their commitment to strengthening local communities by raising over $162,000. These funds will directly benefit families and individuals in need throughout California."
A dedicated United Way partner since 1986, MERIT has been actively involved in philanthropic giving since the company's founding over 30 years ago. MERIT's continued support for United Way has been awarded over the years with a Platinum Achievement Award, the Spirit of Orange County Award and a Golden Key Award.
